What is Teledentistry and How Does It Benefit You?
Teledentistry is an avenue of performing dental care, consultation, education, etc., all through a virtual environment with your dentist. Whether that be through your phone, tablet or computer. Here at Dental Health Associates, our main goal is to provide our patients with efficient dental care in the easiest and safest way possible. By adapting Teledentistry into our practice, we are able to provide an extremely beneficial tool to our patients that will ensure they get the care they need – when they need it.
With Teledentistry, you get to stay at home and be provided with excellent and efficient dental care from one of our Dental Health Associates dentists. Staying home allows you to remain safe and healthy which is our number one priority.
If you are having a dental emergency, you can connect with one of our dentists through teledentistry. We can make an assessment of the issue, prescribe any necessary medications, and schedule an appointment with our office for treatment if needed.
Teledentistry allows patients to receive quality care at a more affordable rate. This allows patients to save money while still getting the dental care that they need.

We hope you are staying healthy and well during this public health emergency. Our priority, as it has always been, is the continued health and safety of our patients and staff. We will continue implementing the recommendations of the ADA (American Dental Association) and the VDA (Virginia Dental Association) and the CDC regarding COVID 19. To continue to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID 19, we kindly ask that if you have an upcoming dental appointment that you follow these COVID 19 guidelines:
Please reschedule your dental appointment should you have any symptoms of COVID 19 (fever, fatigue, dry cough, difficulty breathing, aches & pains, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste).
Please refrain from bringing additional individuals with you to your appointment.
Please arrive at your appointment no earlier than five minutes. We ask that you wait in your car and call the office when you arrive.
Please wear a mask.
Please keep a safe distance from others when possible.
In the interest of patient safety, we would like to share some of our safety measures practiced in our office. N95 Masks, protective face shields, and gloves will continue to be worn by providers. Daily temperature monitoring of all staff, including our front desk support, assistants, hygienists, and doctors. Every operatory is wiped down with disinfectant between every patient. Door pulls, countertops, front desk, restroom handles and waiting room wiped down frequently with disinfectant. We appreciate and value your continued understanding during this health crisis.
